Academic Programme

Founders Academy delivers the South African CAPS curriculum through three targeted streams, enriched by digital resources, weekly STEM & Arts clubs and individual academic support.

Grade 10–12 Subject Streams

Science Stream

Compulsory: English HL, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences.

Electives: Information Technology / Engineering Graphics & Design.

Pathways: Engineering, Medicine, IT, Pure Sciences.

Commerce Stream

Compulsory: English HL, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics.

Electives: Business Studies / Mathematical Literacy (selected cases).

Pathways: Chartered Accountancy, Business Science, Entrepreneurship.

Humanities Stream

Compulsory: English HL, History, Geography, Life Orientation.

Electives: Tourism, Consumer Studies, Dramatic Arts.

Pathways: Law, Social Sciences, Media, Education.

After-school tutoring (Mon–Thu 15:00–16:30)

Clubs & Olympiads

Learners can join: Robotics, Chess, Debating, Maths & Science Olympiads, Creative Writing, Photography and Environmental Club.
